An exciting opportunity has become available for a Specialist Occupational Therapist within the adult mental health community service .  We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with experience of working in mental health to join the team based at Shawpark  Resource Centre in Maryhill.

 

You will report to the Lead Occupational Therapist and will be responsible for the delivery of occupational therapy assessment and treatment to patients with a range of severe/enduring mental health problems. You will also be expected to use standardised assessments,  primarily based on the Model of Human Occupation .


A component of the post will be team duties and you will be expected to have experience in single shared assessment and duty.

 

You will work as a member of the wider occupational therapy team, will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, will supervise students on practice education and participate in ongoing professional development of both self and others.



 It is essential you have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy with current HCPC registration. You also must hold or gain a practice education qualification.


The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
