You will support the provision of quality patient care within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Campus. The Facilities Directorate delivers Patient Catering Services which support and contribute to the provision of quality patient care.
You will develop, implement and maintain effective supervision of an efficient, high quality and cost-effective Catering Service that meets the needs of Patients, and fulfills the objectives of the Board in accordance with Food Hygiene Regulations, QIS Food Fluid and Nutrition Standards and Food in Hospitals, National Catering and Nutrition Specification. You will manage the delivery of the range of Facilities services ensuring consistent high quality provision. You will manage and direct Facilities Assistants making regular visits to premises throughout your area of responsibility - including all wards/departments within the whole site and all areas out with the main Adult and Children's Hospitals. You should have an HNC or equivalent qualification including relevant experience of working in a facilities role. Training will be given in all aspects of the role but having some experience would be advantageious. The shift pattern for this post is between Monday - Sunday (alternate weekends) 10.00am -6.00pm or 12.00pm - 8.00pm.
