GENERAL PRACTITIONER

We are looking for a salaried GP to provide cover 6 sessions per week including Monday or Friday (flexible start date with negotiable number of sessions for the right candidate). We are a NHS 2C practice with a population of approximately 5100 patients, located within Conan Doyle Medical Centre and is accessed from Cameron Toll car park with ample parking spaces. We have a very friendly team which includes 4 salaried GPs, 1 GP retainer, 2 practice nurses, and a health care assistant. We also have a prescribing pharmacist who usually deals with acute prescriptions. We use Vision (Consultation Manager, Appointments) and Docman (for results, hospital letter etc).
Duties include: 11 face to face consultations + 4 telephone consultations per session. Home visits are usually done by the home visit doctor in the afternoon session (1-6pm). Duty doctor deals with urgent phone calls, warfarin results, & urgent lab results. You are more than welcome to visit our practice or drop in for a quick coffee for an informal chat and to meet the team (our coffee break is usually between 10:00-10:30).
