The Counsellor will be trained to post graduate Diploma or equivalent, from an accredited establishment and have minimum relevant post-qualifying experience. The counsellor will have expert knowledge of therapeutic interventions, particularly in the area of trauma-related counselling. You will work with clients who meet SCASS criteria, including specialist areas such as CSA, Gender & Sexual Identity, SRP Choices, Archway, and Sexual Problems. You will work autonomously to provide individual assessment & counselling sessions to men, women, and young people. You will monitor, develop & review treatment to meet specific client needs. You will manage a caseload of clients who present with a range of trauma-related issues of moderate to severe complexity, related to their sexual health & psychological well-being.  You are required to hold a post graduate diploma (or equivalent) in counselling from an accredited establishment and to have significant post-qualifying experience.  You should have full membership of an appropriate professional counselling body (e.g. BACP or COSCA)  This post is for part time and the hours are 22.5 or 18 hours per week.  Please put onto your application which post or posts you would like to apply for.  The shift pattern for this post is worked over 3 days.  This is a Fixed Term post for 12 months.
