NHS Golden Jubilee is in the midst of an expansion of elective capacity and a broadening of its remit working in collaboration with the NHS Scotland Boards. In order to deliver the highest level of care for our patients the Board has gone through an internal infrastructure review which has concluded that the introduction of a select number of additional senior management posts will uphold good governance and drive the implementation of our ambitious future programmes.
The Nursing department is now very excited to be looking for two new leaders to strengthen our senior management team. The Head of Nursing posts will work with Deputy Operations Directors and Clinical Leads across our two clinical divisions, either leading Heart Lung and Diagnostics nursing teams, or the Scottish Elective teams – General, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic surgical nursing.
You will be interested in joining our nursing department if you have extensive experience working in an acute setting. You will have informed your approach to nursing with academic achievement at post graduate level, and will have an understanding of research driven and applied care.
You will be confident working at a strategic level, and will have significant management experience, with an interest in quality improvement methodology and success.
The Golden Jubilee receives very high feedback ratings for patient experience, the maintenance of which is a high priority as the patient is at the centre of everything we do. Nursing at the Golden Jubilee is delivered within a framework that requires intentionality and a determination to uphold the highest standards of care, if you identify with this fundamental driver then we would be very pleased to discuss these exciting opportunities with you.
