A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a forward thinking Pharmacy Technician to join the developing Pharmacy Team within the Substance Misuse Service and Prisoner Healthcare. The post holders will work closely with the Specialist Pharmacy Technician and other Pharmacy Technicians as well as part of the wider Pharmacy Team in these services to provide high quality Pharmaceutical Care to a specific patient population who often have complex care needs. The post holder will be an integral member of not only the Pharmacy Team but the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) across the services attending MDT meetings, undertaking Polypharmacy reviews, meeting with patients and maintaining the medicines supply chain. There will be a requirement within this role to provide high quality training to patients and their families, other Healthcare professionals and third sector colleagues.
Candidates must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Hours of work are: 22.5 hours over 7 days.
