FULL TIME - Shift Working (relief)  £22152 - £ 24258 pro rata per annum (AFC band 4)

Exciting opportunities have arisen for full time dispatchers within our West (Glasgow) Ambulance Control Centre.

The West ACC covers an extensive operational area including both high population and remote and rural areas. The role of the ACC dispatcher is demanding and the ability to work as part of a dedicated team is essential to provide 24hr Accident and Emergency cover to the public.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate clear evidence of accuracy and compliance with system protocols and SOPs, demonstrate an ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision. The successful applicant must be able to dispatch Ambulances to emergency /urgent calls, ensuring optimum use of resources in accordance with Service quality standards and deployment strategies.

There will be a 2 week training period in Paisley for this role and you will thereafter work within the Ambulance Control Centre.
