 Health Care Support Worker / Skye Centre, Patients’ Shop

Band 3,  plus £1,226 High Secure Environment Allowance and £2,943 High Secure Clinical Responsibility Allowance per annum (pro rata). 
Part Time – 18.75 hours per week.
    
A vacancy has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker within The State Hospital. The post is based in the Skye Centre Shop. In addition to selling items to patients, duties will include stock ordering, rotation, taking deliveries and maintaining a tidy environment. A key requirement of this role is communication skills as this involves working directly with patients and supporting healthy choices.  

    
The post holder will be qualified to or have relevant qualifications such as SVQ level 3.

You will have customer care experience, good communications skills, be enthusiastic and self-motivated. You will demonstrate care, compassion, respect and the ability to work well as part of a team. Previous experience in the NHS is desirable.
