Consultant Medicine for the Elderly (x2 Posts)
University Hospital Monklands (UHM) is looking to appoint two Consultants in Medicine for the Elderly to its existing team of Consultants and multi-disciplinary professionals; a team who have a significant track record in driving forward service change and quality improvement.
The department provides services across four inpatient wards at UHM and intermediate care facilities at four sites across Lanarkshire, including outpatients, stroke, frailty assessment and hospital at home. The team work in tandem with General Medicine colleagues to provide daily input to medical receiving.
This is an excellent opportunity where you will be able to contribute to ongoing service development, particularly as part of the Monklands Replacement Project, which makes this an exciting time to join the team.
