Applications are invited from enthusiastic candidates for the post of Cardiovascular Champion Support Manager at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Clydebank, Glasgow.
Candidates are expected to be qualified to degree level and should have highly developed organisational and communication skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications and have experience of working with complex databases.
Experience of working within an NHS research environment is essential as is knowledge of the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations, Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act, Data Protection Act, Governance Arrangements for Research Ethics Committees and Human Tissue Acts.
Reporting to the GJNH Head of Research, responsibilities will include providing management support to the Cardiovascular Research Champion, and assisting with the management of the Scottish cardiovascular research portfolio.
