An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Children’s Registered Nurse post to work within the Community Children’s Nursing (CCN) Team at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

The Team supports children with complex healthcare needs at home and in school. The postholder will liaise and support Children’s Ward, Paediatric Daycare Unit, Paediatric Complex Care Team, School Nursing Teams, Health Visiting Teams., Pediatricians and  General Practitioners.

The successful candidate must have a Child Branch level NMC Registration or RSCN NMC registration.

We are looking for a keen team player, with excellent communication skills who can display an enthusiasm to promote person centered care and demonstrate the ability to learn new skills within this role.

The post holder will work closely with a team of Community Paediatricians in supporting a variety of children with Developmental delay, neurodiversity and neurodisability. Knowledge  of  behavioural management in Early Years would be desirable

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
