We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to work within the Acute Services Directorate predominantly providing clerical support for the senior charge nurses and nursing staff within our Emergency Department

ED is a busy and demanding area that requires patient focused values.  Duties are varied and diverse and will often require work to be carried out unsupervised and for the workload to be prioritised and completed autonomously. From a developmental perspective, extensive experience will be gained working in a multi disciplinary office environment.

You should have relevant experience working in a clerical/secretarial environment ideally in a busy care environment and experience dealing directly with the general public.  You will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  You must have a good working knowledge of IT applications, good organisational skills and a working knowledge of office procedures. It is essential that you have the ability to produce Microsoft word and excel documents.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
