We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Transcriptionist/Secretary to provide an efficient and quality admin support service to the Substance Misuse Service.    

It is essential that you are an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills, and are able to work on your own, using initiative, as well as to work as part of a team.  You should have experience of electronic systems and be able to prioritise tasks to enable you to work within agreed timescales. You will have previous experience in a similar post within a healthcare setting – including fast accurate audio typing (digital dictation) and IT skills, a knowledge of medical terminology/clinic management and HNC (or equivalent relevant experience). 

In order to meet the needs of the service the successful applicant will be required to work in a variety of locations when required across Forth Valley but the post is primarily based at Falkirk Community Hospital.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
