An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Surgical Assessment Unit, Forth Valley Royal Hospital for a kind, caring, hard working, and flexible and motivated Registered Nurses to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the assessment of patients needs and the planning, implementation and evaluation of person centred care while supporting clinical care standards within the ward environment. All applicants should possess the ability to prioritise fluctuating workloads, remain focused, and be flexible in an extremely busy environment.

Experience in working in a surgical assessment environment would be desirable but not essential. You should possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have the ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team and have the ability to promote high quality person centred care, with a genuine interest in the clinical speciality applied for. You must have a willingness and appetite for life-long learning to develop and enhance your own personal and professional development and contribute to the professional development of others within your area. You will be expected to work a flexible work pattern which includes days, night, weekend and public holiday rotation.
