ENT Consultant (Head & Neck)
University Hospital Monklands (UHM) is looking to appoint a Consultant ENT Surgeon, expected to have an interest in benign and malignant Head and Neck Surgery.
The successful applicant will be encouraged to develop the role within the existing team, made up of 8 Consultants, 3 Specialty Doctors, 4 Specialty Trainees on the West of Scotland Training Scheme and 2 Foundation Year Doctors, and will be part of the North Glasgow MDT for Head and Neck Cancer. Research, audit and teaching are actively encouraged.
The post holder will participate in the on call rota which is shared at weekends with NHS Forth Valley (currently 1 in 8 weekdays and 1 in 11 weekends).
There would be opportunity to contribute to service redesign, particularly as part of the Monklands Replacement Project, which makes this an exciting time to join the team.
