Locum Consultant Anaesthetist
University Hospital Hairmyres is looking to recruit a Locum Consultant to cover maternity leave with either an interest in General Anaesthesia or ITU. The successful appointee will take part in either the ITU or general on-call Rota based on a 1 in 9 frequency.
The new appointee will join a department of 19 consultants. One 2.5 Programmed Activity day is likely to be incorporated into the job plan. Programmed Activities will be made up from the following subspecialties: ITU, General Surgery, Vascular, ECT, Orthopaedics, Trauma, CEPOD, Urology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Gynaecology and pre-assessment. Any specialist interest could be accommodated.
The exact configuration of Programmed Activities will be determined following appointment when a job plan will be issued as part of the contract.
