Secondment/fixed term opportunity for 9 months to cover substantive post holder’s secondment

*Secondment Opportunity – Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager.  The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.

The job holder will provide a comprehensive administration service to the Department Managers/Team Leaders, supporting them with off duty, planners and SSTS they will also be part of the overall admin support for the Women and Children’s Directorate. They will assist in the day to day administration to support services, ensuring the smooth running and effective management of resources Directorate and to ensure the highest possible delivery of patient care.

Duties are varied and will include, minutes of meetings, the use of IT equipment including local and national systems to read, analyse and record patient/client information data entry, entering and retrieving information via computerised systems, liaising with other departments by telephone and face-to-face. 

Candidates should have excellent communication skills with good interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise workload, have an approachable disposition and be used to working as part of a team.
