Primary Care Clinical Lead for Child Protection and / or Adult Support and Protection


Part Time: 4 hours per week per role

Salary: £118,911 per annum (pro rata)



We are seeking to appoint a General Practitioner to 2 new clinical lead posts for Child Protection and Adult Support & Protection.


The Public Protection Health Service consists of 3 key areas which are Child Protection, Adult Support and Protection and Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC).  This is an excellent time to join the Public Protection Health Team.  With a focus on supporting the workforce to fulfil their obligations, the Public Protection Health Team will drive forward service development and continuous improvement. 

You role will provide expert professional and clinical leadership with regards to Public Protection across the organisation and will work in collaboration with General Practice staff, the Lead Public Protection Clinicians, Leads and Officers in the Health & Social Care Partnerships (HSCPs), Police Scotland and national agencies such as the Care Inspectorate and Healthcare Improvement Scotland on all aspects of NHS Forth Valley’s contribution to protecting individuals at risk of harm.
