As a first level Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration and substantial post registration experience you will provide a high quality, safe patient centred and effective clinical assessment service to the population of Forth Valley.

You will preferably have experience of Primary Care, Acute/Emergency services, SAS, telephone triage and/or nurse triage.

This post is for the Flow Navigation hub in the Urgent Care Department which is based within FVRH. The Flow Navigation hub is responsible for the safe delivery of scheduled and unscheduled care. The clinical co-ordinator will be expected to provide clinical and managerial support to the drivers, call handlers and the various members of the MDT.  The role will include telephone triage of patients who present to NHS 24, Minor injuries, GP, GP OOH. Palliative care, Chart, SAS, Prisons, and Police services.

You must be able to evidence excellent communication skills, clinical assessment and critical decision-making skills, be able to work autonomously and as part of a team working within the NMC code of conduct at all times. You must be able to rule out red flags quickly and effectively flowing patients to the correct place in a timely manner for the appropriate care required.

We will support you with access to personal development planning, reflective practice, and training.

Hours will be worked to meet the needs of the service which will include a range of shift patterns which include Day shifts/ Nights shifts/ B shifts- 24/7 and working weekends and public holidays.
