An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic, highly committed midwife to join an excellent, well established team in the Forth Valley Maternity Outpatient Department. You will be required to support and lead the team in outpatient clinics, genetics and ultrasound scanning department, working closely with the multidisaplinary and consultant teams.

It is essential that you have a keen interest in patient safety, excellent clinical knowledge, recent evidence of ongoing CPD, an awareness of research-based evidence/guidelines and have competent IT skills.  The applicant should possess good leadership skills and have the ability to adapt your skills to ever changing situations. The role requires you to provide day to day clinical and managerial support to the midwives in their practice and professional development.

This is a senior midwifery role and there is an expectation that the post holder will fully participate in the clinical and professional leadership within the organisation.
