POST: STR LOCUM APPOINTMENT FOR TRAINING (LAT)/CLINICAL FELLOW/LOCUM APPOINTMENT FOR SERVICE (LAS) IN EMERGENCY MEDICINE
BASE: WEST OF SCOTLAND (WOS)
These posts are available from 5th August 2020 at various levels within the West of Scotland (WOS), providing experience in all aspects of Emergency Medicine in a mix of city and district general hospitals. Successful applicants will be expected to register with the College of Emergency Medicine’s e-portfolio system. The posts will be fixed term for 6 or 12 months. For those offered an initial 6 month post there may be the option to extend for a further 6 months. Any extension may be at any hospital within the (WOS).
To practice medicine in the UK you need to hold both GMC registration and a licence to practice.
These posts hold Educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will be LAT’s/ Clinical Fellows or LAS’s dependant on experience. If appointed as a Clinical Fellow/LAS the post will not be recognised for training.
