An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Public Dental Service (PDS) for a part time Senior Dental Nurse.   We are looking for a highly organised, friendly member of staff to join our Team, who will assist in the delivery of high quality care to patients residing within Forth Valley.

The postholder will be an essential member of the Public Dental Service and will work as part of a team of qualified Dental Nurses to provide full surgery and administrative support.   Their duties will include those expected of a Qualified Dental Nurse in terms of chair side and general surgery duties.   They will also provide clinical and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the general anaesthetic and sedation clinics within the acute hospital.  

The post holder is responsible for training and monitoring of clinical skills for Dental Nurses working in the theatre setting.

The PDS service operates Monday to Friday, 0830hrs to 1630hrs across 6 healthcare sites and 3 Prisons.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
