We are excited to be recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant to work alongside the Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist at Loch View. We work closely with Medical, Nursing and other Allied Health Professionals to offer person-centred care.

The small Occupational Therapy team at Loch View is part of a wider community based service across Forth Valley, based within Falkirk, Clackmannanshire & Stirling Integrated Health and Social Care Teams.

We would welcome applications from those who have relevant experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities, Autism or Mental Health conditions. Experience of carrying out activities with individuals or groups would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have a key role in supporting the Occupational Therapist with assessments and carrying out person-centred interventions based on patient’s needs, interests and preferences.

NHS Forth Valley is embracing contemporary working. As and when required the post holder will be expected to participate in twilight or weekend working.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.  More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk

We would welcome calls to enquire about the advertised post.
