NHS Forth Valley Pharmacy Services have an exciting opportunity for a pharmacy support worker to assist the Medicine Management team within Primary Care with delivering improved prescribing efficiencies and excellent patient care. This will be a fixed term/secondment post for a period of 12 months.

The role will involve collecting, collating and analysing data and updating patient records following standard operating procedures to ensure cost effective prescribing.

You will be based between our Primary Care Pharmacotherapy hubs and GP practices.

For this role you are required to have a SVQ in Pharmacy Services at SCQF level 6 or equivalent (or be willing to work towards this). You must have experience dealing with patients/public and a real commitment to improving patient care. You should have effective interpersonal and communication skills as you will liaise closely with general practice and community pharmacy colleagues and care homes. You will have good organisation and prioritisation skills as well as be computer literate with an ability to learn new computer systems. You must be a team player and have a willingness to be flexible and adaptable.
