An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual has arisen within the finance department of NHS Forth Valley:

  • 0.6 wte (22.2hr/wk) part time post – Corporate Services:  Based at Carseview House, Stirling and reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will provide specialist and detailed financial management support and advice for the NHS Forth Valley Endowment Fund including the provision and delivery of papers and reports to the Endowment Committee and the co-ordination and preparation of the statutory Endowment Fund accounts and Trustees Reports.

You will be able to work effectively as part of a team and be capable of producing high quality work to strict deadlines.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to develop and maintain highly effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and across a wide range of disciplines.

You will deliver accurate and robust financial management information within set timescales, will have strong analytical skills and thinking and you will be responsible for maintaining and developing robust systems to ensure the continued financial integrity of NHS Forth Valley.    

You will be Consultative Committee of Accounting Bodies (CCAB), CIMA or an overseas equivalent, qualified with significant experience preferably in an NHS finance background.

This post offers an excellent opportunity to progress your career in financial management and reporting.  Although the post is based in Stirling, successful candidates will be required to work across Forth Valley and base location may change.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
