NHS Forth Valley seeks to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic candidate for this Educational Co-ordinator position. Eligible candidates should currently be a General Practitioner (GP), have a strong interest in Medical Education and a commitment to teamwork. 


The post is for 2 programmed activities (8 hours) per week for 6 months, reducing to 1 programmed activity (4 hours) for the remaining 18 months of the post. The reduction after 6 months is to develop the service, building an interprofessional team.  This is likely to take the form of a secondment from or in addition to, a clinical appointment. Appointment and salary are both in accordance with the nationally agreed salary scales. There are no clinical duties within this post.  Duties will be based between the Scottish Centre for Simulation and Clinical Human Factors (SCSCHF) in Forth Valley Royal Hospital and GP practices across NHS Forth Valley.
