Head of ICT Service Delivery
Full Time 37.5 Hours per Week
£49,480 - £53,414 per annum (AfC Band 8a) (as of 1st April 2020)
We are seeking a dynamic, inspirational and experienced manager to provide leadership, support and direction within the ICT Department.
Ideally candidates should have a proven record of successfully leading ICT Teams and they should be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of modern corporate ICT infrastructure, systems and processes.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to manage change. In addition, the successful candidates must be self-motivated, resilient and resourceful. They must also be capable of working on their own initiative.
As Head of ICT Service Delivery, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management and delivery of highly complex information and communications technology services to the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The core purpose of this post is to lead a team of specialists responsible for the day to day operation of a full range of ICT services. These services underpin the business and operational requirements of the Scottish Ambulance Service and are provided by specialist ICT functions covering ICT Systems, ICT Networks & Security, Telecoms and Airwave digital radio.
In addition, the post holder will develop and implement the ICT plans derived from the Scottish Ambulance Service strategies to ensure core ICT services are robust and continually developed to meet the operational requirements of the organisation
