Job Advert

We have an opportunity for physiotherapists to join Angus Physiotherapy Service as part of the musculoskeletal services (MSK).  These posts are part of the First Contact service development working within Physiotherapy Hubs, GP practices across Angus and also as part of the mainstream MSK service.

With increasing demands on GP time for MSK conditions, there is a drive to deliver preventative and anticipatory healthcare at the point of need, and as such the main part of this role will be to act as a first point of contact for patients attending the GP practice with an MSK condition.

Within the mainstream service, the general MSK caseload deals mainly with musculo-skeletal patients referred from GPs or Consultants and self-referrals.

Angus Physiotherapy Service is part of an award winning Tayside wide musculoskeletal team leading the way in service development.  Our clinicians are supported in developing the skills required to deliver quality care to our patients.  This includes development of injection therapy, radiographic imaging and independent prescribing.

An active in-service training programme is in place both with the local based and the Angus Physiotherapy Service.  Personal and Professional Development is structured via an appraisal system.

You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Informal enquires to: Alison Reid, Clinical Lead MSK Physiotherapy Angus, telephone 01307 475254 or ext 61254 on Mondays / 01241 822825 or ext 21285 on Tuesdays / 01356 665155 or ext 65155 on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Hours of work are:  Full time (37.5 hours per week) – part time hours will be considered
