This is a Modern Apprenticeship Vacancy only open to applicants aged 16-24 years (or 29 years for candidates with a disability or who are care experienced*) in support of our Workforce Demographics and projections.
Please note that this is a training post graded under Annex 21 Conditions** and as such will be paid at 60% of the Maximum point of the quoted salary in year one to a maximum of 75% of the Maximum point of the quoted salary in year four.
Trainees in year one will be appointed at a salary of £18,989.40
* Care experienced applicants are people who live/have lived with foster parents/kinship carers or who live/have lived in a residential children's setting/secure unit. If this describes you please indicate this in your supporting statement.
** The payscale applied to trainees who enter the NHS and undertake all their training whilst an employee.
