Within the Substance Use service there is currently a vacancy for Band 6 Occupational Therapist within the ARBI and core teams based across Forth Valley.

The post holder must be a qualified Occupational Therapist trained to degree level with post qualifications desired in relevant area of speciality. The post holder will provide clinical expertise and leadership and help support the nursing team and participate in joint assessments for people with substance use issues.

The Occupational Therapist will provide specialist assessment working with individuals with highly complex needs. Part of their role is to ensure patients are progressing along the recovery pathway and ensure the patients receive the appropriate clinical interventions are being delivered to this vulnerable group.

The substance use services promote the recovery model works to an integrated model of care in conjunction with partner agencies, good interpersonal skills and experience of team working is an essential requirement for this post.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
