Sandyford is the Specialist sexual and reproductive health service provider for the population of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. Our focus is on person centered assessment of need when managing undifferentiated presentations, providing treatment and care for individuals symptomatic of acute sexual infection. This includes partner notification as part of our population public health role in reducing sexual infection and blood borne virus transmission.  We are embarking on an ambitious program of change to develop a new nurse delivered community service and we endeavor to form a cohesive, enthusiastic, dynamic, flexible and professional team. As one of our team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners you will provide direct patient care, will have sound clinical knowledge and highly developed clinical decision-making skills. As an expert clinical practitioner you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the team.  We pride ourselves on having a friendly and welcoming team - both Nursing and Medical- where you get the support that you need. You will be competent and pro-active with an ability to manage multiple patients at once, delegating where necessary.   It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and that you are a registered Medical prescribing V300 & NMC registered.  You should have evidence of post registration experience in sexual health with management of sexual infections.  You should be working towards the following skills I qualifications: Assessment and Decision-making in Advanced Practice, Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology in Advanced Practice and Advanced Clinical Practice.  We believe people make the real difference, come and join us!  The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday between 8.00am – 8.00pm.
