Job Advert

Having experience in an oncology healthcare setting with nursing/caring experience is desirable. Ward B1 cares for patients receiving chemotherapy, radiotherapy and associated treatments for cancer. You should have good interpersonal, writing and numeracy skills. You must be willing to work towards an agreed training programme to include cannulation, venepuncture,  ECGs and patient observations. To meet the demands of the services you will be expected to cover in-patient, day case and out-patient services if and when required. This could include sites within Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Clinic P, Vale of Leven, Paisley and Inverclyde. The shift pattern of this post is worked 10/12 hour shift pattern over Monday – Sunday, day/night duty.
