Having experience in an oncology/haematology in-patient or day case area is desirable. The day case areas treat patients receiving systemic anti cancer therapy (SACT) and other associated treatments. You must be willing to complete an agreed training pathway to include cannulation, venepuncture, ECGs and patient observations. To meet the demands of the services you will be expected to cover in-patient, day case and out-patient services if and when required. This could include sites within Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Clinic P, Vale of Leven, Paisley and Inverclyde. The shift pattern of this post is worked 10/12 hour shift pattern over Monday – Sunday day/night duty.
