NHS Forth Valley is looking for a skilled administrator to support its Information Governance Unit.  This is a fabulous opportunity for someone who wants to help a small team facilitate information governance best practice across the organisation.

You will support the Head of Information Governance (IG) in all aspects of administrative duties.  In addition you will provide a high quality secretarial and administrative service to the wider Information Governance Unit. You will deal with enquiries from services, members of the public, and external sources being able to direct and advise appropriately to ensure a good customer experience. 

We are looking for a team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, planning and organisational skills, who is able to deal with a range of competing priorities.  The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and use relevant information to solve problems whilst demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.

Candidates should have experience of using Microsoft Office including email, Word, Excel and databases with recognised qualification in Administration e.g. SVQ level 3, NVQ, RSA3, HNC or equivalent experience or similar or have an equivalent level of knowledge within an administrative role.   

Knowledge of NHS procedures and practices or experience in a public sector environment would be an advantage. A level of English language competency and communication skills is necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is also required.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
