This post is open to candidates who hold a Special Qualification award. The hours will be discussed at interview. You will provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies. You will function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience to lead and enable the district nursing team to provide a quality nursing service. You will be a Registered Nurse who will support the District Nurse in delivering care to patients within the caseload. You will be responsible for providing skilled nursing interventions for patients within the caseload. You will manage delegated activity within the caseload, and provide support to other members of district nursing team. You will have current NMC registration with a Post Registration qualification in District Nursing, with relevant post-registration experience and a full current driving licence. The shift pattern for this post is flexible across the working week.
