This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post. 

The job purpose is: to justify, perform and report ultrasound examinations, providing direct care and a high quality diagnostic service in order to assist in the management of patients within the directorate of Radiology. To provide diagnostic reports in obstetric, gynaecological, early pregnancy, vascular, general, musculo-skeletal and small parts ultrasound. Supervise and act as mentor to trainee sonographers ensuring continuity of service.
