We are looking for experienced technical analyst to be a member of the Proactive Support Team within eHealth. The Team’s primary objective is to deliver comprehensive eHealth technical support services to all eHealth Desktops and end user devices within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.. The team’s secondary objectives include deployment of applications within the eHealth environment, continually developing and improving the eHealth infrastructure, assisting other eHealth Teams in support of the complete eHealth infrastructure and management of network user resources.
You will participate in most team roles and will work within a rota system for covering different sites / groups of sites, depending on workload and involvement in Strategic Objectives.
Further roles required to meet the team’s secondary objectives of developing the Desktop environment and deploying (packaging) applications will also be within the rota system, however further competency levels / qualifications will be required before you will be eligible to participate in these areas.
You must have a combination of relevant technical education and qualification and demonstrable IT experience within the specialist area. This is a permanant post for 37.5 hours with shifts running Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
