An opportunity has arisen to work within Ward 9 is a busy gynaecology and mixed medical ward, dealing with both waiting list and emergency admissions for the whole of Fife. The main duties include receiving and booking in patients via the hospital computer system (TrakCare), as well as collating, checking and filing information, clinic preparation and the tidying of casenotes .

You should be educated to Standard Grade or equivalent or with other relevant experience. You should have previous clerical or reception experience and possess accurate keyboard skills. A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is required, as is the ability to perform under pressure.

You must be able to lift and handle small quantities of casenotes and to bend and stretch to retrieve these.

In the event of annual leave or sickness you may be requested to work additional shifts to ensure that the service is covered.

If successful, you will be joining a well-motivated and dynamic team, who strive to deliver the highest level of care to all patients at all times.

Candidates are required to be a motivated enthusiastic individual with good written and oral communication skills. You will have to work well individually and also as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
