The Pharmacotherapy Service in Forth Valley is rapidly expanding and the team are currently undertaking new and exciting roles within local GP practices and working towards fulfilling the vision set out by Achieving Excellence in Pharmaceutical Care. This post will therefore be based in GP practices to increase capacity to deliver pharmaceutical care. You will be an integral and valued member of the GP Team delivering the Pharmacotherapy Service.
The post holder will have effective interpersonal, communication and influencing skills. They will also have the ability to work with a range of clinical and non clinical personnel as they become core members of the practice teams. They will liaise closely with hospital and community pharmacy colleagues and care homes to ensure seamless pharmaceutical care.
You must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council before you can apply for this post. Applications are welcome from newly qualified pharmacy technicians or those due to qualify by October 2024.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
