The dialysis Unit is a busy, friendly, 14 stationed dialysis Unit that offers excellent experience. The unit caters for patients who require renal replacement therapy for renal failure, in the form of Haemodialysis. The unit runs two shifts of patients per day and overnight dialysis on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You will be a Registered Adult Nurse with current NMC Registration, you will have excellent communication skills. Extended role skills would be an advantage but full training in these will be given. This is a highly technical area; however you will work closely with your mentor to help you develop your skills in haemodialysis. Informal visits are welcome. Your shift pattern will be rotational. IT and good dexterity skills would be highly advantageous.
