The role of AHP team lead for Oncology services provides operational management and strategic leadership for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services within the Regional Services Directorate. The AHP Oncology Service provides high quality patient-centred care to patients living with and beyond cancer. The service is based across two sites, with Oncology services based at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and Haemato-Oncology services based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The service comprises of inpatient and out-patient services, alongside numerous service developments and projects. It is essential you have Diploma/ Degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy and have current HCPC registration, evidence of CPD training relevant to speciality. You should have significant post graduate experience, including significant experience at a senior level within oncology, experience in managing a team and students and have good communications skills. The hours of this post will be worked Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
