We are looking for someone to join the Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Service within Glasgow and Clyde at the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital as a Band 6 Physiotherapist.   

You will work as an autonomous practitioner providing a high standard of patient care to patients on a one to one basis and in group settings. The role will involve working to support the Service Lead Physiotherapist and you will have a key role in the education and development of other staff.  As a member of the physiotherapy team you will work within all areas of the Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy specialty including; obstetric inpatient and outpatients, gynaecology inpatients, antenatal education and postnatal rehab programmes and pelvic floor physiotherapy. A degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy and HPC registration are essential for the post. Previous experience within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialty is desirable.  It is essential that you are currently registered with the HCPC.  You will be required to participate in the evening antenatal education programme and you will participate in the weekend Obstetric service provision to postnatal inpatients.  Although this is a full time post,  part time or job share will be considered.  Although applicatsions are welcomed, applications from candidates who require a work permit will be considered only if no suitable Uk or EEA national is identified for the post.
