A vacancy has arisen for a Health Care Assistant/ Phlebotomist within Forth Valley Community Nursing Services ( Clackmannan & Stirling HCSP).  Changes within Primary Care have lead to the opportunity for Health Care Assistants to join the expanding care and treatment service. This post will work closely with General Practice and District Nursing teams.  

It is essential that you have good communication skills, are flexible and adaptable and can work well within in a team while using your own initiative. 

You will be based within a District Nursing team and will carry out delegated work on a daily basis that will include phlebotomy, assessment, simple dressings and other delegated nursing care. It is desirable that you have previous nursing experience including eye care, phlebotomy, wound care and a knowledge of continence aids. Training will however be provided and NHS Forth Valley is supportive of lifelong learning and development. It is also essential that you are keen to learn and develop new skills. 

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
