We are looking to recruit a permanent registered nurse to join our team for Older Peoples Services and Stroke Clyde. This role will give the opportunity for individuals to develop their skills and knowledge. Our service covers many areas of speciality including stroke rehab. We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual to join our multi disciplinary team while providing you with the opportunity and support to continiously develop your career. You will need to assess patient needs, plan/implement and evaluate a programme of care which is evidence based utilising all available resources taking into consideration the lifestyle, gender and cultural background and ensure involvement with the patient, family, carers and significant others. If you join us you will work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of care to a defined patient group - competently performing the necessary technical/invasive/physical aspects required. In the absence of the department manager or deputy you may be asked to provide cover to ensure effective operation of the department and we will ensure you are ready for these situations. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse who meets the criteria outlined in the job description and has evidence of further educational courses being completed.
