We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Paediatric Nurse to become part of the Bute and Cowal Children and Families Health Team.
You should have experience of working with children, ideally in the community setting and able to demonstrate excellent team-working, assessment and communication.
You will be expected to provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, effective Specialist Community Paediatric Nursing service to the 0-19 year age group in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies. You will also participate in health improvement / health promotion activities as delegated by the Team Leader/Manager.
An requirement for the post is a Registered Paediatric Nurse qualification and NMC registration. Holding current full professional registration is an essential requirement for the post. You should be able to evidence continuing professional development and an ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You should have excellent IT, communication and problem solving skills while having relevant experience working with children and young people.
You will be expected to travel across the Bute and Cowal localities to meet the operational requirements of the service.
