An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Peritoneal Dialysis team and we are seeking a health care assistant to join us. You must have a positive attitude, showing professionalism, integrity, determination and dedication in everything you do. You must have the ability to promote patient centred care and establish good relationships with patients and carers. You will work alongside the Peritoneal Dialysis Team to care for patients conducting their Dialysis in the hospital and home setting. You will assist patients with activities of daily living. You will provide a care environment that is fit for its intended purpose. You will support the delivery of patient care as defined by the context, purpose and philosophy of the Healthcare Team to which they contribute. You will share responsibility for key aspects of care delivery, demonstrating an awareness of cost efficiency and safety. You will provide patient care in support of a registered nurse to ensure delivery of a high quality of patient care. It would be desirable if you have experience within a caring environment and that you have good communication skills. On job training will be given.
