We are looking for an innovative Speech & Language Therapist with substantial experience to manage and lead the Speech & Language Therapy service that covers: in-patients in Raigmore, community services (Inverness, Nairn, Invergordon, Dingwall, Badenoch & Straathspey), Mental Health and Learning Disability based at New Craig’s and Drumossie Unit.
The post holder will have extensive experience of Speech & Language Therapy as an advanced practitioner. The area of specialism for the post will be dependent on prior experience and skills within the current team and service requirements.
There will be considerable evidence of leadership, operational management, service redesign and change management. In addition to the team manager role the post holder will be the professional lead across South & Mid Division Speech & Language Therapy services responsible for taking forward quality clinical governance for the service in conjunction with the AHP Lead. The post holder will work in collaboration with AHP Service Manager colleagues under the management of an Area Manager.
