This is a key role within a Community Adult Mental Health Team. You will have a key role in the assessment, treatment and support of adults with mental health issues residing within South Glasgow. You will function as Named Nurse / Keyworker, within a multi-disciplinary team, to a defined patient caseload. You will assess the care needs and the planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and carry out all relevant forms of nursing care pertinent to the needs individual patients and/or delegating all or aspects of care to a named Health Care Assistant. You will identify and respond to the health promotion needs of patients under your care. You will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration, evidence of post basic professional development and effective communication skills. This post requires that you hold a current driving licence and pre-employment checks will take place as part of Greater Glasgow and Clyde Policy. This is a permanent post with full time hours; these hours will be worked Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
