Bank Healthcare Support Workers- Sutherland

As part of our rolling recruitment programme applications are invited from flexible, well-motivated Healthcare Support Workers to join our Nurse-bank, complementing the existing nursing teams within Lawson Memorial Hospital in Golspie and Migdale Hospital in Bonar Bridge, with the opportunity to work throughout NHS Highland as agreed with the Nurse-bank. 

You may be required to cover at short notice therefore should be self-motivated and reliable with a flexible approach to both availability and preferred areas of work.  This role provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of specialties and client groups.

Please note that it is a requirement that successful candidates must commit to undertaking practical mandatory training courses at Raigmore Hospital (Recreation Hall and/or Centre for Health Science) on the following dates: Violence & Aggression Training: 20^th, 25^th, 26^th May or 2^nd June 2020 and Moving & Handling Training: 20^th April 2020.

In addition, online mandatory Learnpro training must be completed within a one month time-frame, from date of appointment.
