This is a fixed term post for one year.. The post is full time with shifts running at the times specified below. The post will be based in the Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit, The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, Glasgow which is one of the major cancer clinical trials units in the UK (partner in Cancer Clinical Trials Unit Scotland NCRI Accredited Unit). You will mainly work on a range of Phase 1 to Phase III cancer trials CTU participates in. Main duties of the post will involve the collection and processing of data and organisation of clinical trials in cancer. Applications are requested from candidates educated to Degree level or equivalent, with a good knowledge of medical terminology, experience in a paramedical field, or extracting clinical data. Clinical research experience and knowledge of current legislation in the area, the NHS environment, and oncology field is essential. The hours of this post are worked Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
